Using the Google Checkout "Add To Cart" or "Buy Now" button(s) on Astral brings a whole new line of customers for you. It allows customers to instantly purchase items that you are selling, without giving out ANY of their credit card information!

To add this button to ANY of the items you are selling on Astral, you must first have a Google Checkout account, which is very easy to setup. For more information on this feature, here is the link: https://checkout.google.com/sell/?gl=US&hl=en

Once you setup your "Add To Cart" or "Buy Now" button in your Google Checkout account, you are 99% of the way done!

Next step is to start selling on Astral using the HTML from your newly created button(s) from Google Checkout. Here is the steps you would follow:

STEP1: login to your Astral Account
STEP 2: Scroll down the page until you come to highlighted words that say "Online Garage Sale" in black writing with a lime background.
STEP 3: Click on the link that says "sell item"
STEP 4: Click on an available slot to start your ad
STEP 5: Fill in all the required information about the item you are selling.
STEP 6: Once you get down to the section where a picture of the Google Checkout logo, you will see three boxes (one for a "Buy Now" button, one for "Add To Cart" and the other for the Google Checkout shopping cart itself.
STEP 7: Copy the HTML that you got from Google Checkout into the appropriate box
STEP 8: Finish completeing the rest of the add, then click "CONTINUE".

You are done! No more information is needed from you to sell that item with a Paypal button.

The only information we need to setup your Paypal "Add To Cart" or "Buy Now" button is what is outlined in "STEP 7"

NOTE: If you are using the "Buy Now" button for Google Checkout, you will only need the HTML for the "Buy Now" button. If you putting in an "Add To Cart" button, you will need the HTML for the button, along with the HTML for the cart.

Hope this information is usefull to you and if you need help, just post your questions.

UPDATE: We have figured out the issue with the buttons  Shocked

Now we are in the process of changing the way you insert your ads into the OGS. This process should take about 2-4 days to complete. In the meantime, post your html for the other two items you have and I will put them in for you.

don't thank me yet, we are having problems when the html transfers from the form to the database, it just won't do it. I was just told that this was the reson for doing it the way we do it.

we will be working on this today to see if we can come up with a solution. I will update this post once we figure something out

seems to work great! Today, we will update the way members put in the buttons for paypal, also, we will update our policy to include what happens if a member ads any html other than paypal so we can avoid any scammers.

ok, so that must be the problem. I'm going to try something...

i'm going to enter that html into that ad and see what happens. If this works, we are going to update the way paypal buttons are submitted. We will have the members input their own html. I know you would like that option better. give me 5 minutes and test your MED ad.
